 “Do as you would be done by.” (Golden Rule)

- A moral guideline known as the "golden rule" reminds us to think about how our actions
will influence other people. It instructs you to show your dedication to the guiding
principle of treating others the way you want to be treated. It emphasizes the importance
of putting other people's wants and feelings before our own when going about our daily
lives. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is a proverb that has its roots
in the Bible. Other religious organizations also advocate for this principle, which
motivates us to be good neighbors.

 “Look after your own interests even at the expense of others.”

- Being selfish has a complex nature because it depends on the moral values of the
individuals involved. While it may be selfish of you to prioritize your interests over those
of others, it may equally be selfish of someone else to prioritize their goals over your
interests. As a result, it might be difficult to say for sure if a scenario is morally right or wrong
because there are so many variables that can influence ethics. As an example, there are
circumstances in which it would be selfish to prioritize your own interests over those of others.
That has happened in the past with the COVID-19 virus, as an example. Despite having
symptoms, some people have continued to work because they felt they needed the money for
themselves, their families, or just to avoid the trouble of getting examined. As a result of one or
more people's interests being disregarded, they either passed away, became gravely ill, or were
simply sick and required to forfeit their income.

 “Between being right and being kind, choose kind.” (Wonder)

- When deciding between being kind and being right, kindness always wins. Despite opposing
points of view, a kind and compassionate person can listen to others. You can encourage your
own progress by trying to comprehend others' perspectives and by acknowledging that you might
be mistaken. Long-term, this can only be good for you. You feel at ease and content when you
realize that not everyone is out to get you but is merely attempting to provide useful knowledge.
You will gain maturity as a result, which will help you later in life. On the other hand, constantly
defending your position makes you defensive. You will not learn and develop wisdom if you
prioritize being right in life because you will be closed off to alternative viewpoints that differ
from your own. Additionally, being kind to others produces more profound and enduring effects.
Conclusion
Do human persons decide differently based on an individual or collective consideration? In other
words, will your decision be different if what is at stake is self alone or something that involves
other people?

One of the advantages of collective consideration is that it allows for the inclusion of the
knowledge and opinions of a larger group of people. As a result, they might be more creative and
make better decisions. In fact, organizations can sometimes deliver results that are superior to
those of individuals.
