Ramya, Assistant Engineer (Environmental) of this Municipality has applied Maternity leave from 05.10.2021 vide reference cited. She is also in charge of civil works as the 2 civil engineer posts are vacant since long. Therefore I herewith forward the application of the individual for taking further action and sanction of maternity leave. I further submit that there are 3 Assistant Engineer posts (2 Assistant Engineer posts & 1 Environmental Engineer post) in Pedana Municipality. Two Assistant Engineer posts are vacant till long back and Smt. B. Ramya is working as Environmental Engineer and in charge of Assistant Engineer posts Smt. B. Ramya Assistant Engineer (Environmental) applied leave from 05.10.2021. Due to above reasons the entire work pertaining to Engineering section under various schemes will held up. Due to leave of B. Ramya, Assistant Engineer (Environmental Engineer) at present so many works are under process. Hence I request the authorities to depute or post one Assistant Engineer to Pedana Municipality so as to enable this office to overcome the situation and for smooth administration.
