7 USES
In decentralized systems, every node makes
its own decision. The final behaviour of the
system is the aggregate of the decisions of
the individual nodes.

This kind of system is very popular , mostly

as a result of the enormous excitement
around Bitcoin. Numerous firms are
currently looking for applications with such
system.

Components of Decentralized System are,

Node (Computer, Mobile, etc.)
Communication link (Cables, Wi-Fi, etc.)
CHARACTERISTICS

Every node is an
independent entity, has
different clocks on which
they run and follow.
There are multiple central
nodes to listen to
connection requests.
Failure of one central node
makes a part of the system
to fail and not the whole
system
ARCHITECTURE
Peer-to-peer Architecture
Master-slave Architecture
ADVANTAGES

HIGH
AVAIBILITY
MINIMAL MORE
PROBLEM AUTONOMY

A B C
DISADVANTAGES

Difficult to achieve global big tasks

No regulatory oversight
Difficult to know which node failed
Difficult to know which node responded
LIMITATIONS

May lead to the problem of coordination at the

enterprise level
Not suitable for small systems - low cost/benefit ratio
No way to regulate a node on the system
USES
Private network
