A narrative is essentially story writing. It can be fiction or nonfiction It makes the

reader feel like they are a part of the story. It normally about a personally experience

CREATIVE WRITING
 WHAT IS CREATIVE
WRITING?
Creative writing happens when the author uses his or her
imagination to create a story. Typically these stories are not
like other, “normal” writings that we see in journals or articles.

 What is your assignment?

You are going to create your own writing!

You will be given the choice to choose one of three prompts. You
will write a story based on the image that is shown. You must
include a setting, plot and characters. Use as many details as
possible in your writing, don’t be afraid to get creative!
