I. WRITE AN ESSAY ON “ENVISIONING YOUR ARCHITECTURE

BUSINESS ORGANIZATION.”

When starting my own architectural business, I want to prioritize client and

architect relationships, the fundamentals of architectural practice, keeping up with design
trends and innovation within the industry and spreading the benefits of the profession based
on our strengths as artistic planners. First off, to provide healthy client relationships without
sacrificing clarity is one of the goals of my organization. To bring forth collaboration
between the client and the designer to produce pleasing and functional structures through
communication. Blocking any sense of open mindedness can disrupt the potential of any
project. Next, keeping up with the design trends can be tiring at first but making sure to
surround myself with people that are passionate when it comes to new things can make
things more manageable. An environment that compliments your goals instead of
compromising it can lead to exciting and fun project planning in the long run. A team that
is versatile and welcoming towards new and innovative case studies will surely motivate
you to study and read on different kinds of reference materials to widen your scope of
knowledge in the industry and its current state. Lastly, to spread the benefits of the
architectural profession and introduce it as more than just drawing and sketching designs
is an objective which is shared by many in this professional field. Common folk here in the
Philippines often have this pre-determined thought or knowledge that the word
“architecture” is directly or is equally compared to having the same skills as a visual artist.
People tend to forget that our profession involves more around problem solving the most
important aspect of our daily lives: the buildings that we enter in and out of every day. By
having client meetings that show our expertise in these aspects, we can surely break into
the thoughts of the community and maybe re introduce architecture as it’s meant to be. By
having these potential frameworks of a business philosophy in mind, we can organize and
plan are initiatives and build upon our habits early. Having standards set in mind will steer
you into a clear path devoid of any doubt and fear thus replacing it with confidence.
