 PRACTITIONER STATEMENT
Developing a product for a client being a consultant was quiet a good experience doing this. In
the previous years I was in the networking field and in the final year I had to study this course
Product Development. Using HTML, CSS and PHP. So I used a drag and drop website
WordPress which quiet helped me in doing the assignment. The best option available to me
being a networking student was using a drag and drop website.
Project Plan
We need to implement major plan and strategies to develop this project. I had to work in certain
Methodology in developing a product. In the process we have to stay in certain time frame and
certain strategies to develop a product.
I had to provide the best final product to my client which is easy to use and effective as well.
Planning each and every step and focusing to the client requirement is the basic plan in doing
this project.
Software used in developing the project
Being a networking student I was never into this field so I used a drag and drop software know
as WordPress. To maintain the project plan and schedule I used a Microsoft Excel which helped
in maintaining the project plan where it was quiet easy to deliver the product to the client in time.
In the process of drawing and designing a website I was considering of taking some of the best
software’s like Illustrator, Microsoft paint but instead of using that software’s it would be easy
and effective in drawing a design in a piece of paper sheet, using this method was quiet easy and
more understandable. In the process of building a website it would be easy in using the drag and
drop website instead of coding like using Notepad, PHP or any other programming software’s.
There are various sites available in developing a website but choosing WordPress helped me a
lot in the process. Using this website to develop a website it was easy to identify the bugs and fix
those bugs occurred in the process.
System Testing:
In the completion of developing a website a need to perform various test so that the software is
perfectly working and has no bugs in it. Testing method would be easy and simple of me testing
the website which I have generated. Testing includes the pages like registration page is working
effectively of not login page is working effectively. Home page provides all the necessary
information required in the page. There is a live Match page where all the information is working
and the live games are working.
Conclusion:
After all, when the website is ready and users are being able to use we would be facing some
limitations in the process of developing the product where I had choosed a drag and drop website
called WordPress. In the process of creating a website from the beginning using a drag and drop
website we have to work in a small room with so many risk which mostly includes time frame.
When developing a product from scratch we need to focus in small things and there would be
certain time frame which would make more time consuming. My website is developed in a local
host so the website can be viewed offline as well.

Critical reflection of Project

In the development of product using different methodologies and strategies to develop a product
which was quiet effective and it went quiet easy and was quiet smooth in the developing the
product. In the process of developing the product I had to keep track of myself so that the
product can be delivered in time where there in high quality in the product. In the process of
developing a website I went into a serious illness which quiet effected the time frame in
development of the product. But later in the process I was able to recover the development
process and was able to the catch the speed. Facing different difficulties in the development was
that a but comes out it take a whole lot of time in fixing the error. But at the end I was
successfully able to deliver it to my client.

Tools used for the effectiveness

As I used a drag and drop website called WordPress which was quiet effective in the process of
developing. Microsoft Excel was used for maintain the time frame and for the testing protocols
which helped in speed up the project. For the design and testing Excel was used and it was quiet
easy in using it better than using Microsoft word which would be more time consuming.
Due to my idleness I had lost certain time for the developing but due to the proper planning I was
able to recover the lost time and keep me updated which increased my confidence in building the
project.

For upcoming projects to know

Working in a certain time frame and certain budget which motivated me to work more seriously
in the project. There was certain time frame for each project plan and I had to finish it in the
certain time which kept me motivated and I used to finish it in the time, motivational tool can be
used in the future for developing such projects. Exploring different methods in the developing
the product should always be used. Using different software tools and knowing about them
would be easy in the upcoming projects.

Testing Protocols

When the final product is ready it needs to go through the series of test so that the prototype
website which is developed will meet the specific requirement which was set by my client for the
final presentation. In the final process of finalizing the prototype all the necessary bugs need to
be fixed, so that the system is ready for the testing. The developed website needs to be live and is
working in the selected network server, as it a website where thousands of people will be
accessing at a time so it needs to working in a proper server. Database management system
should also be fully functional where there are no errors in the running the website.

Tools and method used

Once the website is live on its running server the main function is to run on the selected browser
like SAFAI, CHROME, FIREFOX, etc. it needs to be checked it is fully functioning in mobile
browsers. We need to make sure that the website is fully functioning in all the servers which
might be temporary server as well. Real time testing should also be performed in the website so
that users performs every task and functions easily.

Testing efficiency

While testing a website we need to consider several testing factors which will show the
efficiency of the website. Website loading time is also to be noted down which is the main
factor which will play in testing of the website. No one ones to use those sites which take a
whole lot of time to load or even sign in into the page. We need to note the load time of the
website. Load time in different web server needs to be noted down.
