Development Idea

"Development in general includes improvements in economic, social and political

aspects of society like security, culture, social activities and political institutions". - by
(TAYEBWA 1982:261)

My own understanding for the definition is that, development is not just for the
economic, social and self improvement. It should covers-up the whole aspect of a
human needs including shelter, security and as well as in political views. Compared to
other authors Tayebwa definition for me is more concrete and defined. He emphasize
the essence of development in the society as a whole. It is somehow a broad idea of a
development that touches economic, societal and political aspects.
