ACTIVITY DESIGN

Name of Activity: Local Health Board Meeting

The Provincial Health Office with its aim to organize new members of the local health board and develop its
relationships and engagement in the community to enable us and our stakeholders to work together to address
health related issues, to prepare the province for the application of universal health care and promote well-being in
achieving a positive health impact and outcomes. Thus, this meeting is highly recommended.

Specific Objective:
At the end of the activity, the PHO through its partner and stakeholders will be able to:
Reorganize new members of the local health board.
Represent explicit link to a healthy facility where primary purpose is to enable the community to participate
in improving health service.
Recognizes that the community are not only supply side partners but also plays a role in the demand side of
health governance.
