and debate. We are gathered here this morning to witness the 29th Patwardhan
Debate. The Patwardhan Debate has a golden legacy and is one of the most
prestigious debates in Pune. It is not merely a clash of words, ideas, or
philosophies but a clash of personalities and that is exactly what we will be
witnessing throughout the course of today’s debate. After two years of the virtual
Patwardhan debate, we are back to the traditional ways. Although this debate is
spread over 2 days that is the preliminary rounds and the finale. We had a total of
12 schools competing which were split in two rounds. Although we can only have 1
winner. For the finale of the 29th Patwardhan Debate, we have 6 schools with us to
engage for the 1st place. The Patwardhan Debate has a very rich history and it will
be the highest honor for the winning team to emerge victorious.
