and the
Lion

The sad look in the lion’s eyes didn’t
give Androcles time to think.
Androcles stepped forward to
remove the thorn. After that, he also
cleaned the lion’s bleeding paw.
After running all night, he decided to rest.
Androcles was about to fall asleep when
he heard a roaring sound. He was
shocked to see a huge lion in front of him.
As he was about to run, he saw that the
lion had a thorn stuck between its paws.

Androcles is a slave with a barbarous
master who doesn’t pay him for his
service. At night, while his master was
sleeping, Androcles planned to
escape.
Androcles heard the voice of his
master after helping the lion. He was
caught and imprisoned. The guard
informed him that, as his punishment,
he was set to be a meal for a lion who
had been caught too.
Androcles was taken to an arena with
thousands of people waiting for the so-called
show. There’s a cage in the center of the
arena. Inside of it was a huge and hungry lion.
Everyone cheered as Androcles was pushed
PLOT into the cage. Everyone was expecting that the
lion would eat the boy, but something strange
happened. The lion started purring and licked
the boy’s face. It turns out it’s the lion that he
helped in the forest.
The Emperor was stunned, so he took
Androcles to the palace. He was amazed
when he heard the story of why the lion
didn’t eat the boy. In the end, the
Emperor decided to free the lion and
Androcles.
