Degree Certificate and Academic Transcript: this must show that your degree is
equivalent to UK Honours degree or above.
Reference: from your most recent employer or place of study. References should be
dated within the last two years and refer to recent study or work. References not in
English language should also be provided with a certified translation. References

(admissions@qmu.ac.uk) from the referee's own professional e-mail address. If you are
providing a reference from a professional address, this must be an academic or
company e-mail address. We cannot accept references from Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo or
similar e-mail accounts.
English language evidence: where your degree has not been completed within the last 5
years you must provide an IELTS test or other English language test result. You must be
able to demonstrate English language ability equivalent to an IELTS overall score of 6.0
and with no component less than 5.5. You can find more information on what we accept

Other documentation may be required once the checks are completed/conditional offer
is issued.

Your offer is also conditional on confirmation of successful funding from the Commonwealth
Shared Scholarship Scheme. The award will be granted by CSSC after consideration by the
QMU and the CSSC teams. Scholarships dates are yet to be confirmed but are expected to be
conferred by July 2023, after which you will need to provide all documents to meet the entry
requirements. If you are successful in achieving funding, we will contact you after the date
above to advise of these conditions. The first round of scholarship decision dates are yet to be
confirmed but but are expected to finish in March 2023, If you are not successful at that stage
we will get in touch.

Once the Commonwealth Scholarship funding decisions are made, your offer will not be
progressed to unconditional until provided docs above and evidence of successful funding.

If you are intenting to apply for alternaitve funding, we ask to you send a separate appliation
to the non-CSSC full MSc programme. THis will be assesd separately using our standard
entry criteria.

Your fees
Based on the information provided in your application we have classified you as an
International student for tuition fee purposes. From 2021 onwards, the International fee status
also includes EEA and EU students. Please see the "Fees and Funding" section below for
more information. If you do not agree with this assessment you must tell us within 14 days
Fee Status from the date of receiving your offer. No changes to your fee status will be considered after
this 14 day period. Please contact us to request a Fee Status Enquiry form.

Please note, if you submit a query that results in a change in your fee status, your eligibility
for an offer may be affected and the offer could be withdrawn.
The fees for 2023/4 have yet to be confirmed however, the fees for 2022/3 for MSc Applied
Global Health - Applying to Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme are £16,500 per
Fees to be year for International/EEA/EU students for Full time (on campus) study. All our fees are
charged reviewed on an annual basis.

If you are successful in achieving a CSSC funded place, funding will be be granted.

Visa requirements and CAS Requests

If you are an International, EEA or EU student and require a visa to study in the UK, then you will
need a Student visa to study in the UK. Further information regarding this will be sent in a separate e-
