The first astley’s adventure

the story begins with our hero astley rickett, twitching in his cot, black mould
crawling around his hospital room and the scent of cooked beef making his
appetite fade away.

The drug hits him, firing him into a frenzied jolt of acceleration so powerful it
resembles an industrial strength burglar alarm. Astley is in the air before he
can swallow his breakfast.

Astley jolts through a minefield of debris with the greatest of ease. As he

lands at his parent’s home he sees the shiny paintwork of his parent’s new
car and remembers where he is, so he sets the minefield on fire and leaps
on to the car, dust is thrown up into the air as he drives towards the highway
and then our story is over…

Astley v2.00

This whole thing took me about 15 hours to write so I thought it was quite
good.

In astley’s next update I hope to introduce one of my new playable

characters, robert nazi astley, a caricature of myself.
