WASTE MANAGEMENT

The San Nicolas Elementary School teachers and stakeholders were

committed and dedicated in enhancing the waste management using MRF
(Material Recovery Facility). In this activity, all of us contributed our time,
effort and resources to ensure the school facilities would be ready before the
school evaluation.
The classroom advisers prepared the trash bins namely: Biodegradable,
Non-Biodegradable, Recyclable and Infectious. The presence of different
groups of wastes was helpful to everybody. However, the school head Dr.
Nemie M. Mariano told the teachers to make a compost pit in line for the
preparation, the parents from different grade level were busy for that project,
there are four compost pit was made by the different grade level. The said
activity showed up again to help teachers clean the surroundings.
On the other hand, the Gulayan sa Paaralan people involved and in
charged continue doing their best in order to participate on the said
evaluation. The enthusiastic 4Ps parents work hand in hand in cleaning their
garden area, and bamboo fencing.
Finally, San Nicolas Elementary School received “Best School Promotion
in Material Recovery Facility” the success of Waste Management evaluation is
a proof of the commitment of our stakeholders with their utmost support and
desires in helping the school, and that make us realize that teachers and
stakeholders are essential in gaining successful result in every activity.
