Subject: Regarding Issue of Walkie-Talkies (15 nos.) to Coke Oven (Pkg-02).

Dear Sir,

With reference to the above subject, it is to be noted that commissioning of Coke oven (Pkg-
02) is at door step. various testing and trial run activities of different units are under progress
and commissioning of battery-1 is planned soon. In-order to carry out day to day activities
coordination between various car operators, control room I/c and shift I/c is necessary, so
Instrument department is requested to provide 15 nos. of Walkie Talkies at the earliest
possible to carry out safe commissioning and subsequent operation.

As you are aware that instrumentation department has issued 5 nos. of Talk-pro Walkie
talkies during battery heating and 4 nos. of Motorola Walkie talkies during CDCP chamber
dry out operation./. Although there are total of 9 walkies but intercommunication between
battery and CDCP could not be established as there is issue of connectivity between talk pro
and Motorola walkie. Hence instrumentation department is requested to issue 15 nos. of
walkies where-in the communication can be established with all the walkies at the same time.

Considering the above, you are kindly requested to issue 15 nos. of Walkie Talkies (of same
make) to Coke Oven at the earliest possible. (Pkg-02).
