ASSIGNMENT NO 1: DEFINITION OF GLOBALIZATION

Direction: Write at least two definitions of Globalization. Out of the given one, explain why you chose
them.

DEFINITION OF GLOBALIZATION

(1) Globalization refers to the process in which businesses or any local and international
organizations develop cross-border influence that affects the operation on an international scale.
(2) Globalization is the term used to describe the growing or developing of world’s interdependence
in terms of economies, cultures, and populations. It is mainly because of international trades of
goods and services, as well as the growth of technology, flow of investment, and somehow
people and information.

EXPLANATION WHY I CHOSE THOSE ABOVE DEFINITIONS

Those above definitions written and chosen are the most accurate meaning to describe
globalization. As a matter of fact, Globalization most specifically refers to the changes or development
happened in a certain country and somehow the world itself. The factors that really impacted these rapid
changes are the international trades of goods and services and technology. Where in international trade,
we used to establish strong relationships among countries in order to give and receive smooth
transactions. While in technology, people becoming more aware of different types of technology that can
be used for communicating people in different countries in the world.
