This system has several unique features compared with other similar applications. The features are :
1. Multi Platform
Runs on various operating systems, including : Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris and Macintosh.
2. Multi Site
This system can be installed on several location according to the company/organization needs.
Example: West Jakarta (Site1), Central Jakarta (Site2), Palembang (Site3) and Irian Jaya (Site4).
In the example above, the headquarter (Site 1) can be connected to other locations via IP or Serial, Modem, FTP as well as
Email. This is possible because this system has several advantages including :
¡ Each location is identified with different codes.
¡ Capable of handling the same extension, PIN & Trunk numbers, time difference, PBX connection etc.
¡ Intersite data verification.
¡ Special reports are available to be analyzed.
3. Multi RDBMS
This system can be integrated with different type of databases : MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle and ODBC.
4. Multi PBX
This system can be connected with various PBX brand, for example : Nortel, Alcatel, Avaya, LG, NEC, Nitsuko, Panasonic,
Siemens and Toshiba.
5. Performance
¡ Multi Threading to run several process, for example : Recorder, Processor, Scheduler, Alert, etc.
¡ Speed optimization in several process, for example: calculation process, report generator, integration, etc.
¡ Several main module can be run as a service : Recorder, Processor, Key, and Alert. Some features will be available in
the next version of Datacom CallPartner.
¡ Auto check of minimum PC requirements (performed during instalation and runtime). This features will be available in
the next version of Datacom CallPartner.

There are minimum requirements to connect this system with PBX. Applications in this system are :
l Recorder is a service application for recording all raw data from PBX and converts the data into standard data.
l Processor is also a service application to process raw data from PBX.
l Monitor (EXE) runs to monitor the performance of all application in this system.
l Reporter (EXE) is used to generate report.
l Setup (EXE) is used to define required settings to run this application and to connect with PBX.
There are 2 topologies in this system:
1. Single site Topology
In the figure above, one Recorder handles one PBX. There are several databases that are suported by this system :
¡ MySQL
¡ SQL Server
¡ Postgre
¡ Oracle
Minimum requirements to connect this system with PBX are as follow:
¡ Recorder (service) will be installed in the server site.
¡ Processor (service) will be installed in the server site.
¡ Monitor (EXE) will be installed in the server site.
¡ Reporter (EXE) can be installed in server site or client site or both. But the Reporter (EXE) installation process has to be
done in the client site.
The connection between CallPartner with PBX can be by serial cable or IP network.
2. Multi site Topology
l This system can be used for multi site. The connection between the head quarter (HQ) to other locations may use network
or serial cable (as illustrated in Location 2 and 5 above).
l One Recorder application capable to handle multi PBX. Installation has to be done in the system at the head quarter (HQ)
only, while installation in other locations are based on user needs. Similar with single site topology, Processor and Monitor
are running as service application.
l Installation of Recorder, Processor and Monitor applications have to be done at the head quarter (HQ). Other application
such as Setup and Reporter are installed according to user needs. Raw data will be sent from other sites to the head quarter
(HQ) to be processed further into standard data.
l As illustrated above, Location 2 does not need to install other application because it is connected directly with Location 1
(head quarted / HQ) through network (Intranet / Extranet).
l Reporter application need to be installed in each location if the manager want to see telephone usage report of his/her
location (as illustrated in Location 2).
l In the figure above, Location 3 has its own Recorder application and PBX. Location 3 does not have Reporter application
because it does not have Processor application and does not connected directly (IP or serial) with Location 1 (head
quarter / HQ). Setup application in Location 3 has limitation, unlike Setup application in the head quarter (HQ) and in
Location 5.
l If in one location is installed with Processor application, then the location can do its own raw data processing, no need to wait
for standard data to be sent from Location 1 (head quarter/HQ), and its Setup application functions are as complete as
Setup application in Location 1 (see Location 4 and 5 above).
l In this application, user can do more detail settings or according to the needs separated from the head quarter (HQ).
l Location 5 as illustrated above has all applications (Recorder, Processor, Monitor, Setup, and Reporter). Therefore standard
data will be transmitted to the head quarter through network or FTP but not in real time.

This system has security feature divided by user levels according to their needs:
1. Module Access
Each user has different access rights based on their level. User rights are defined in the Setup User settings.
2. Data Access
This access limitation can be in the form of zipped (example: data.zip) or encrypted data. Password field is encrypted when a user
login to this system as displayed below:
3. Activity Log
User's activities in the following modules are monitored :
¡ Monitor
¡ Reporter
¡ Web Report & Admin
¡ Setup
¡ Installer
¡ Maintenance
User activity informations are saved in Log History files. Every module has separate Log History. Log History will be saved
daily and named according to the date (yyyymmdd.log).

To use this application a license needs to be obtained from PT. Datacom Solusindo. The license is divided into 7 parts as follow :
1. Dongle
To run the entire system a Dongle is needed for each application package. Each dongle is unique.
2. Extension
There is extension limit in the license. If the data recorded from PBX exceeds the extension capacity of CallPartner license,
unregistered extensions will not be processed.
3. Expiration Date
There will be alert in the License indicator displayed in yellow color 2 weeks before the expiration date, and red color 3 days before
expired. Those Alerts can be dispatched through sms, popup, email, etc according to system setting.
4. Site Capacity
Maximum Site/Location capacity that can be installed in the system.
5. Phone User Capacity
Maximum Phone User capacity that can be installed in the system.
6. PBX Capacity
Maximum PBX capacity that can be installed in the system.
7. Version
PT. Datacom Solusindo provides 2 license version for this system, they are :
¡ Demo Version
Demo Version can be use for a limited time. The system will stop working after the license is expired. Please contact PT.
Datacom Solusindo support for more information.
¡ Commercial Version
In the Commercial Version, user gets the full version of this application and there is no expiration date.
