Research Design: Descriptive – Quantitative Research Design
This research will be conducted quantitatively using a descriptive survey
approach. Research that is descriptive explains the study questions or issues, as well as current events raised are founded in the understanding of current phenomena, events, scenarios, or just plainly it is intended to provide a glimpse of the situation as it is today (Cabigao, 2019). This study considers the typical issues students face prohibit them from comprehending the content they are reading, the effectivity of the collaborative strategic reading in improving the reading comprehension of the pupils and the difference between the comprehension level before and after the implementation of the collaborative strategic reading.
