Check the image/conveyance – Check before procedures – Check to ensure that the "READY" screen
appears.
Check the image/conveyance – Check before procedures – Perform "Secondary Erasure" on the
spontaneous radiation and image accumulated on the IP to be used.
Check the image/conveyance – Image/Conveyance checks – Record the IP, which was exposed as
instructed in "3.1 Check Before Procedures," under the following film output conditions, and output it.
Check the image/conveyance – Image/Conveyance checks – Check the image format. Make sure that the
white blank portion is 2 mm or less, as actually measured on the IP, from the outermost edge of the
image frame of the film outputted.

format information that has been set is correct.

abnormal, such as blurred or broken characters.
Checking the Feed/Load conveyor unit – Shock absorbing rollers, guides, and rubber rollers – Make sure
that the spur gears are attached in such an orientation as illustrated below.
Checking the Feed/Load conveyor unit – Guides and rubber rollers – Make sure that the spacer is
attached properly.
Checking the Feed/Load conveyor unit – Brush roller – Make sure that the brush roller assembly and
brush rollers are attached in their correct orientations.
Checking the Feed/Load conveyor unit – Reinstalling the Feed/Load conveyor unit – Check to ensure
that the screws once removed are snugly retained.
Securing the machine – Checking for improper protective grounding – Check that the parts and cables
removed for servicing purposes are connected in the same manner as for installation.
