- is a long-standing concept in psychology research and refers to individuals’ tendency to
attribute successes to personal skills and failures to factors beyond their control.

1. After a job interview, an applicant is confident enough that he will be hired because he
answered all questions accurately. But he did not get the job and he assumed that the interviewer
is biased because he came from a local state university from the province.

2. As a teacher is checking the students’ paper works, she took a look one of the student’s work.
It is concise and is reasonable to get the perfect score for that activity. But the teacher thinks that
maybe it was copied from the internet so she gave a grade of 85.

3. At a fast food chain, a group of customers ordered foods for takeout. Suddenly, their orders
are served in a dine-in. Therefore, they think that the cashier is not listening very well the time
they placed their order.

4. In a volleyball tournament, the players win the game, in which they dedicate their success to
their hard work and practice. But when they lose the following week, they blame it on the
referees' faulty calls.

5 In a certain project, the architect is in-charged for the interior design of the house. However,
there are. some designs that they cannot make. And they blame this to the engineer for the wrong
measurements.
