Check travel guidelines issued by West Bengal below:

 COVID test/vaccination rules: It’s mandatory for all travellers entering West Bengal to either carry a final
COVID vaccination certificate (both doses done) OR a negative RT-PCR report with a sample taken within 72
hours before arrival. RT-PCR test timeline starts from the swab collection time. Negative RT-PCR test report
is NOT required for fully vaccinated travellers to enter West Bengal. Thermal screening will be done for all
arriving travellers.
Anyone having symptoms similar to COVID will not be allowed to board and will be required to follow
treatment protocols according to local health authority rules.
Travellers might not be allowed to board their flights if they are not carrying a valid test report/vaccination
certificate
Travellers who do not have to carry the test include:
- Children below 2 years of age.
- Anyone travelling due to a death-related emergency is exempted from the pre-departure test. However, they
must inform their airline in advance and proceed with their travel only after approval. They will also have to
take a test on arrival at the airport.
Please note, transit travellers whose final destination is not West Bengal and who do not need to come out of
the airport do not need to carry a COVID test report for Kolkata.
 Quarantine Guidelines:
14 days of self-monitoring for all asymptomatic passengers.
For symptomatic passengers, the health authorities will decide the quarantine requirement on a case basis.
 Pre-registration or e-Pass requirements: Download and update the Aarogya Setu app, download the
Sandhane App and fill up the declaration form on it.
