Suitability / shots for production (scene numbers)

Suitable for Slash Horrors, secluded areas useful with building tension, small hiding spaces
available, would look great in both day and night. Natural foliage great for in depth shots and
close ups.
Lighting Information:
Shot uses natural light on account of the
outside environment.
Sound Information:
As location is outside, surrounding sounds,
birds, wind could affect the shot, this scene is
also close to a carpark, so motor vehicle noise
pollution could also affect shot.
Power Information
Due to it being in an outside environment,
power outlets are scarce, with no proper
outlets visible.
Hazards
As it is a public area, onlookers or member of
the public may pass through on occasion.
Night operation – Filming at night may cause
issues for the safety of cast and crew.
Solutions:
Shots must be filmed at the same time of day
to allow for consistency and continuity as to
avoid any time jumping shots.
Solutions:
Could possibly play a soundtrack over the
scene, temporarily blocking noise out, or
muffling it at the very least. Will also use a
screen around the audio device to minimise
noise pollution. I also plan to use a directional
mic, which will focus on the dialogue.

Portable generators or extension leads will
suffice providing power to the equipment.
Solutions:
The location is fairly discrete and isolated,
minimising traffic of the public. Could also
arrange with owner of land, a temporary
blockade.
Night operations – with filming at night, as long
as the area is fairly lit with a number of crew
on-site there should be minimal risk.
