A CASE SUDY: INFLUENCING DECISIONS

INTRODUCTION:
In this case study, the author described a scenario about decision making. The company
needs to start a new project and each team member has different proposal. The manager needs to
evaluate different team member’s proposal and choose one of the most suitable one and start as
soon as possible. In this case study, I’ll analysis the team member’s proposals and explain my
thoughts about the decision making.
Simply said, influence tactics is the strategy that one person use to affect another person’s
decision making. When we have a proposal and wants to have our manager or someone else’s
support, we will choose or have one of this strategy to achieve the goal. In this case, there are
four team members have different proposals, they want to convince the manager to choose their
proposal.
