P: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
C: Amen.

P: I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things
visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before
all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for
our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the
Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he
suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the
Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will
come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and
the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken
through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one
Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

IMMACULATE MOTHER

Immaculate Mother, to you do we plead,

To ask God, our Father, for help in our need.

Refrain:
Ave, Ave, Ave Maria! Ave, Ave, Ave Maria!

We pray for our country, the land of our birth,

We pray for all nations that peace be on earth.

L1: We shall meditate on the Glorious Mysteries. The first Glorious Mystery is “The
Resurrection of Jesus.”

But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices
which they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when
they went in they did not find the body. While they were perplexed about this, behold,
two men stood by them in dazzling apparel; and as they were frightened and bowed their
faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,
that the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and
on the third day rise.” And they remembered his words, and returning from the tomb
they told all this to the eleven and to all the rest. Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna
and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told this to the
apostles; but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. But
Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by
themselves; and he went home wondering at what had happened. (Luke 24:1-12)

We pray for the Pope, bishops, priests, and the religious that they may courageously
proclaim the Gospel which will give hope and consolation to the world that is currently
embattled with COVID-19, drawing strength from Christ’s victory over sin and death.
The first candle is lit.

STELLA MARIS

Kung itong aming paglalayag

Inabot ng pagkabagabag
Nawa'y mabanaagan ka
Hinirang na tala ng umaga

Kahit alon man ng pangamba

'Di alintana sapagka't naro'n ka
Ni unos ng pighati
At kadiliman ng gabi

Chorus:
Maria sa puso ninuman
Ika'y tala ng kalangitan
Ningning mo ay walang pagmamaliw
Inang sinta, Inang ginigiliw

Tanglawan kami, aming Ina

Sa kalangitan naming pita
Nawa'y maging hantungan
Pinakamimithing kaharian

L2: The second Glorious Mystery is “The Ascension of Jesus.”

So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the
kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which
the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy
Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea
and Samaria and to the end of the earth.” And when he had said this, as they were looking
on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing
into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men
of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from
you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:6-11)

We pray for government officials, that they may realize that their power and authority
does not come from their own efforts and actions but from God who is almighty and
draw inspiration from it so that they may use it to address and serve the needs of the
people entrusted to their care.

Sino'ng mas dalisay sa hamog sa himaymay
Sino'ng mas malambing sa mapaglarong hangin
Sino'ng mas maningning sa buwan at bituin

Ang landas tungo kay Hesukristo
Buong tiwala kanyang winika;
Maganap nawa ang 'Yong salita

Sino'ng magpapayapa sa bagyong nananakot

Sino'ng magpapasigla sa damong sumukot
Sino'ng kandungan ng mga dukha
Sino'ng tanggulan ng mahihina (Koro)
Coda:
Sinong dakilang lingkod ng Amang utos
Santa Maria, Ina ng Diyos

L3: The third Glorious Mystery is “The Descent of the Holy Spirit.”

When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly
a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where
they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire, distributed and resting
on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in
other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:1-4)

We pray for those who are greatly affected by the pandemic that they may find comfort
in God’s providence in their lives and that they may continue to persevere in leading
righteous and holy lives knowing that their toils and labors are not in vain.

The third candle is lit.

O MARY OF ALL WOMEN

O Mary of all women,

You are the chosen one,
Who, ancient prophets promised,
Would bear God’s only Son;
All Hebrew generations
Prepared the way to thee,
That in your womb the God-man,
Might come to set us free.
O Mary, you embody
all God taught to our race,
For you are first and foremost
In fullness of His grace;
We praise this wondrous honour
That you gave birth to Him,
Who from you took humanity
And saved us from our sin.

L4: The fourth Glorious Mystery is “The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.”

For which reason, after we have poured forth prayers of supplication again and again to
God, and have invoked the light of the Spirit of Truth, for the glory of Almighty God who
has lavished his special affection upon the Virgin Mary, for the honor of her Son, the
immortal King of the Ages and the Victor over sin and death, for the increase of the glory
of that same august Mother, and for the joy and exultation of the entire Church; by the
authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and by our
own authority, we pronounce, declare, and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma: that
the Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her
earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory (MUNIFICENTISSIMUS DEUS
#44)

We pray for the sick, especially those who are infected by COVID-19, that they may be
healed by God, body and soul, through the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin
Mary who was assumed to heaven, both body and soul.

The fourth candle is lit.

MAHAL NAMING INA

Mahal naming Ina tinatawagan ka

Tunay na batis ka ng biyaya
Binabalungan ka ng awa at ligaya
Nilalapitan ka naming habag

Inang sinisinta buksan aming mata

Pagkat sa Dios Ama kami ay nagkasala
Kapag kami'y yumahong lumbay
Kami'y samahan don sa Amang kaharian

L5: The fifth Glorious Mystery is “The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen
of Heaven and Earth.”

And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon
under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; she was with child and she cried
out in her pangs of birth, in anguish for delivery. And another portent appeared in
heaven; behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems
upon his heads. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the
earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child, that he
might devour her child when she brought it forth; she brought forth a male child, one
who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and
to his throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by
God, in which to be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. (Revelations
12:1-6).

We pray for the dead, especially who died during this pandemic, that they may find rest
in the kingdom of God with Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth.
