him? Of all the questions and statements contained within Holy Writ, there is none more profound, which leaves man in a quandary. Moreover, this inquiry followed on by the statement: God made man in His own image. This is not an answer but goes simply to compound the dilemma, for lastly God has asked us to enter into a Covenant with Him. God has already been at work, arranging and setting the stage for His offertory, a Covenant. Yet what is a Covenant? Occasionally, there comes a moment when you take inventory of what you believe and what it is that your history reveals to you. These thoughts have paraded themselves once again, and I believe I have an extinguisher armed and ready. Q: Why were we given commandments if we are to enter paradise? R: Let me say that since we currently reside in the wilderness and not paradise, there is a basic need of fundamental rules. For if we were in Paradise, there would not be a law to break. Q: I notice that there was no consequences passed down associated with the Ten Commandments, why? R: The fifth has a condition. Possibly it is because these laws are to manage and maintain those within a specific group. To error in any one, will cause you to come against the group as a whole and the very one offended. This makes you an instant outcast. Q: What is the most difficult commandment to keep? Not which is the most important, Christ had already responded to such a question, within the Scriptures. R: The most difficult to keep, is #5, Honor your Mother and Father, the difficulties exists in the ability to maintain due honor and respect given to such a one upon their arrival to maturity. Today there exists, for numerous reasons and difficulty in honoring our parents. This declension in society has cascading affects upon our culture. Today, as in all preceding generations, there is a rainbow of spiritualities, all varied and tailored to meet a specific need. Much like the restaurants, advertising for you dollars, these seek your vital energy to give them life. What strikes me, regarding this topic, is that all three faiths, derived from Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, have dismissed the Mother Earth, Brother Wolf mindset. A quick scan of most of the early faiths, that Egyptian, Hinduism, Buddhism, even to the Native American, ect, all have this umbilical chord, where as those as mentioned as stemming from Abraham, do not.
