Guidelines for Math Quiz bee

1. The participants must be a bona fide student of the school.

2. There will be two (2) representatives from each team.
3. Each representative will provide their own ballpen and clean bond paper for the solutions.
4. Illustration boards, eraser, and chalk will be provided by the committee.
5. The quiz bowl shall consist of three rounds, namely: EASY, AVERAGE, and DIFFICULT.
6. Each round will have corresponding point equivalent for every correct answer (please refer to
the table)

Rounds Number of Questions Points/Equivalents

Easy 10 5 points for every correct answer
Average 10 10 points for every correct answer
15 points for every correct answer
Difficult 5 -5 points for every wrong answer
0 points for no answer

7. The allotted time for each question ranges from fifteen to 90 seconds, depending on the
question if it requires solutions or not.
8. Once proclaimed, decision of the board of judges is deemed final.
