REFLECTION 8

To ensure that you are promoting your students’ socio- emotional, ask yourself the
following questions:
1. Do I have healthy relationships with my students, fellow teachers and superiors?

Answer:
I love and respect my students, fellow teacher, and superior. For my
students, I have to be on their toes, so that I could adjust to their level. For my
co-teachers, I will respect their different personalities. And for my supervisor, I
need to respect and obey them.
2. Do I have a good sense of my self- identity?

Answer:
I love myself as well as my fellowmen. I am contented with my life, respect
other and I know my self-worth.
3. Do I encourage my students to be open with their feelings and emotions?

Answer:
Students suppose to be open with their feelings and emotion with their
teachers. I will adore them to be responsible and learn to control their emotions.
They should love their bodies. Protect their bodies at all times and not do
anything to displease God.
4. Do I provide my students with a non- threatening classroom environment?

Answer:
As always. I never approve the hostile atmosphere in the classroom. Students
learn better and are motivated to learn move if they are in a friendly environment.
When they sense, the teacher is accommodating, friendly, and concerned of their
welfare, they tend to love and respect their teacher.
5. Do I foster healthy friendships among my students?

Answer:
I students should be traded with love and respect. They should be treated with
human attitude and not to be punished with school work, inconsiderate test
requirements and deadlines which are impossible for the students to beat.
