Affinity Network Opt-In

Getting Started in Workday Job Aid


*Note* Only our corporately sponsored Affinity Networks are in scope to be represented in Workday at this time. Employee Interest Gr oups (ie. religious
networks) or Affinity subnetworks (ie. Employees with Disabled Dependents) are not in scope and will continue to operate as they have been prior to
Workday.

Additionally, local networks are intended to be captured by the major regional or country networks reflected in the Workday s ystem. If you are looking for
a site or OU network, please opt into the broader network. Reporting capability will enable more granular distribution lists to be created.

A F F I N I T Y N E T W O R K O P T - I N
To join or leave an affinity
network workteam:

1 From the Workday


home page, type the
name of the Affinity
Network or even just
the word “Affinity”
into the Search Bar
and click enter

2 Click the More


Categories button on
the left-hand side.
Then click the
Organizations tab.

3 Select the link to


view the workteam.

Tip: Look for a region


or country specific
indicator to ensure
you’re finding the right
network (ie. AMA, LA,
EU, NA, GC for
Greater China, CA for
Canada, US for
United States)

4 Click Add Myself to
join the Affinity
Network

5 Click OK to confirm
your choice.

*Please note* Once you’ve joined a network, it will default you to active status.
This is the only status we are using in workday. Passive and inactive are settings
in the system we cannot remove, but will not be leveraging as part of this process.
Please do not change your status to passive or inactive or you will not receive
communications from the network.

6 To leave the Affinity
Network If you had
already joined, click
Delete Myself.

7 Click OK to confirm
your choice.
