Sponsorship Proposal – A Lecture by Dr. Sayed Amjad Hussain

Kanishka Vihara, An Ancient Peepal Tree and A Sacred Begging Bowl

Currently Dr. Sayed Amjad Hussain is an emeritus professor of cardio-thoracic surgery and emeritus professor
of humanities at the University of Toledo, Ohio, USA. Since 1976 he has visited Pakistan to teach and to deliver
lectures on the subjects of surgery, ethics, history, religion and culture.

This time he is visiting Pakistan in the mid of January and Creative Co. (Private) Limited has specially requested
him to deliver a lecture on the subject i.e. “Kanishka Vihara, An Ancient Peepal Tree and A Sacred Begging
Bowl”.

Directorate of Archaeology & Museums is requested to sponsor the lecture including refreshments and
miscellaneous cost i.e. PKR 100,000/-, and hosting at Peshawar Museums with allied facilities.
