ASLAV-PC

The ASLAV-PC (or Type 2 ASLAV) provides mobility to the dismounted


reconnaissance elements and can be used to represent the command variant.

There are dedicated models for both the CSS and Ambulance variants.

In the observer position F8, the


ASLAV-PC is displayed.

Or with optional Remote Weapon


Site (RWS).

Num + provides a NVG view at


suitable lighting levels.

Pressing N provides a magnified


view.

Num + provides a NVG view at


suitable lighting levels.
F7 switches to the “Commander’s
Position”:

If no RWS fitted
(applies for next 5 slides).

Q raises the Commander to looking


out of the hatch (Z lowers you).

Num + provides a NVG view at


suitable lighting levels.

Pressing N provides a zoomed


“Bino” view. The Binos are not
NVG.

Pressing N toggles between the


magnified and normal view.

From this raised position, inside or


fully raised (below) “F3” (CWS)
allows the operation of the pintle
M2HB.

Num + provides a NVG view at


suitable lighting levels.

Pressing Q again fully raises the


Commander to looking over the
MG.

Num + provides a NVG view at


suitable lighting levels.
Pressing N provides a zoomed
“Bino” view. The Binos are not
NVG.

Pressing N toggles between the


magnified and normal view.

If RWS Fitted:

F2 activates the Commander’s


GPS.

To load / unload troops:

1. A single vehicle: In the 3D world, select the vehicle icon and choose Load (or
Unload) Troops and then select the fire team or “all”.

2. The entire TP / PL: In the 3D world, from the “Platoon” menu at the top of the
screen “Load troops” (Shift + U) or “Load troops” (U).

Note:

1. ASLAV (A) is modelled and does provide medical aid.

2. ASLAV (CSS) is modelled but does not provide resupply. To provide this effect
you need to include the specific supply/refuel vehicles currently available (HEMTT
or Ural).

3. ASLAV (F) not modelled (need to use M113 Repair or M88A1 MRV).
