Body Language

1) What gestures are they doing?

In the first video, at the begging the speaker was only on the podium and wasn´t
moving too much, also he was watching the computer and didn´t keep too much eye
contact with the audience. But, later on, he started to present some statistics by using
his hands and he begun to use the stage. His paste also changes because he started to
speak more quickly and for me it was a little hard to understand what he was saying.

In the second video, the speaker was reading the speech but she was making a
good eye contact with the audience. Also, her expressions were really good because
she used her hands movement and facial expressions to emphasize an important part
of the speech. In the third video, the speaker was balancing back and ford which was
really annoying for me, but I like how he used his hands in order to explain some
concepts that were part of his speech which made it easier to understand what he
was trying to say, also the eye contact was adequate keeping in that way interaction
with the audience.

2) Does their body language look purposeful?

For me the three speakers used their body language purposeful. In the first one
maybe it was a little exaggerated, but it was useful in order to be able to understand
something complex like statistics and also it made it more interesting. In the second
one, her body language made her look confident about what she was talking and
also her hands movements and facial gestures give more power to some parts of the
speech. I also like that at the begging of the speech she used her head instead of his
hands in order to express her idea. And the third one, I didn´t like too much his body
language because he only stayed in one place of the stage and he was balancing
back and ford which was awkward for me, but I liked how he used his hands to
express some of their concepts of the speech because it made it easier to understand
them.

3) Do they move around the stage?

Only the first speaker moved around the stage to explain the statistics. The
second one didn´t move because she was giving a performance orientation speech in
which she had to read, but even though she was reading, she had a good body
language which help her to transmit her speech in a confident and powerful way.
And the third one was only balancing back and ford.

4) Do they establish eye contact with the audience?

The first speaker wasn´t establishing too much eye contact with the audience, he
was looking a lot to the computer and didn´t interact with the audience even thought
they were interacting with him through laughs. The second and the third speaker were
establishing a good eye contact with the audience

5) Do they move inside or outside the gesture box?

For me all of them moved inside the gesture box in order to express confidence
about what they were saying, but the first speaker also moved outside the box when he
was explaining the statistics which made the speech more interactive for the audience.
