ng the New
Lesson Now before we proceed to our lesson proper let us recall our last topic that we
discuss.

Review about Probability:

Remember class about the Probability of simple Events that,

P(E) = no. of possible outcomes/ total no. of outcomes.

(Show the Venn diagram)

Given the Venn diagram here, imagine that this quadrilateral with inscribed three
circles is our classroom and this three circles were set of subjects named set of
English, set of Mathematics, and set of Science.

Now, using your meta-strips, I want you to write your name and attach your meta-
strips on any of the circles you like. Attach it to English if you like English or if
you like Mathematics or even Science. You can attach your name also twice or
thrice on any of the circle. But if you feel that you don’t like the three subjects just
attach your meta-strip outside the circle but still inside the quadrilateral.
Motivation
Okay class you may now start posting your meta-strips.

Very good!

Now, let us determine and segregate your subject choice using another Venn
diagram.
