•AD 100 - Papyrus Pages

•1594 - The boxer codex manuscript that was produced in the Philippines. The document contains seventy-five colored illustrations of the peoples of China, the Philippines, Java, the Moluccas,
the Ladrones, and Siam.

•1500-1600- Were the first newspapers were made.

•Oct 21, 1832 - Baron Schilling von Canstatt successfully demonstrates the first telegraph in history in his room.

•Apr 3, 1861 - The Pony Express was a fast mail service crossing the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains, and the High Sierra from St. Joseph, Missouri, to Sacramento, California, from April
1860 to October 1861.

•Oct 9, 1876 - Bell makes the first two-way long distance telephone call between Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

•October 1906 - The first press release, covered by Lee, was of a railroad accident involving the Pennsylvania railroad.

•Dec 24,1906 - Reginald Fessenden used an Alexanderson alternator and rotary spark-gap transmitter to make the first radio audio broadcast, from Brant Rock, Massachusetts.

•Oct 2, 1925 - John Baird achieves the first live television image with tone graduations (not silhouette or duotone images) in his laboratory

•Oct 29, 1969 - The first ARPANET link was established between the University of California, Los Angeles and the Stanford Research Institute on 22:30 hours on October 29, 1969.

•.Jul 4, 1971 - The first email is created and sent by Ray Thomlinson, a computer engineer working under ARPAnet

•Aug 6, 1991 - This date also marked the debut of the Web as a publicly available service on the Internet.

•Feb 4, 2004 - What initially begins as a drunken hacking attack on the Harvard network results in the creation of a popular social networking site. As of February 2012, Facebook has more than
845 million active users.

•Aug 19, 2004 - Google was first incorporated as a privately held company on September 4, 1998, and its initial public offering followed on August 19, 2004.
