Many people seek fairness, but the problem is that it is sometimes perceived as being equal while, in fact, they

are extremely different. To be fair, I can claim that I have had that experience in my family. My parents are fair
when it comes to how they treat us. They do not treat us equally because we all have distinct requirements. Each
of us makes adjustments based on the requirements of others.
In other words, I should understand if my parents assign fewer work or duties to my siblings because they are
not as physically fit to perform a lot. Or they should understand if my parents give me a larger allowance
because I am already in college and have to pay for my fare and other things. This is my experience with
fairness, and it may seem very basic, but I believe the lesson here is that sometimes we expect so much for
fairness, but we refuse to examine the issue. We may feel neglected and unheard at times because we do not
receive the same treatment as others, but this could be because others are in a worse situation than us and thus
receive more attention or better treatment than us. However, it is acceptable to express our feelings when we
believe that we do not receive the treatment that we deserve as a person.
