Here is just a bit of what we’ll be working on this

week:
Reading – review comprehension strategies
Phonics – ending sounds, rhyming words
Math – composing and decomposing to ten

Our Halloween Party is this Friday. I will be

ordering pizza for the class. If you’d like to
contribute toward the cost of the pizza,
please send in $1 by Friday. Thank you!
Snack Helpers
Monday – Library (return library book)
Tuesday – PE (tennis shoes)
Wednesday – Music
Thursday – Library (return library book)
Friday –PE (tennis shoes)

Nov. 3 – Field Trip to the Zoo

Nov. 7-8 – No School

Brooks will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week on
Monday-Friday. There will be a special theme
each day:
Oct. 24 – Wear BRIGHT COLORS
Oct. 25 – Wear your favorite TEAM gear
Oct. 26 – Wear your TIE DYE
Oct. 27 – Wear your PAJAMAS
Oct. 28 – Wear your HALLOWEEN
COSTUME (No costume masks, play
weapons, or scary costumes. Also, please
make sure that your child can be
independent in the bathroom with their
