tion for all of us. So that, we can to be he
re without trouble at all.
Secondly, may sholawat and salam f
or our Prophet Muhammad SAW who alw
ays give goodness in the world.
Thirdly, I’d like to say thank you for
MC, gudges and the people in here who h
as give me an opportunity to speak in fro
nt of you all.

eech on the Importance of English.
English has made it possible to con
nect with people around the globe.
No matter what their mother tongue
is, English has become a primary languag
e everywhere.
Be it educational institutions in Ind
onesia, Japan, USA, Germany, Spain, Fra
nce everywhere English language is used
for speaking, writing, and for any other p
urpose.
The English language has opened m
any doors around the world.
It is also the most common and mos
t used language from Entertainment indu
stries, like radio, newspaper, Netflix serie
s.
We can even watch Korean movies a
nd Japanese anime because they are dub
bed in English.
Also, when someone planning to stu
dy abroad, an English test is required.
Now, that we know the importance o
f English in our lives why don’t we bring t
he changes in our present that will help u
s in the future.
In knowing English, we will be able t
o communicate better or even covey our t
houghts to the world that will be quite dif
ficult in any language other than English.
It has become essential to have a go
od command and fluency in English. Bot
h in higher education or corporate sectors.
The simple thing we can do to incre
ase our competence in English is to start
by watching series or songs without subti
tles.
I hope we will indulge in these daily
activities and improve our English.
Daily efforts in our present will help
us prosper in the future.

eech on the Importance of English.
Before I deliver a speech, I would lik
e to invite you to give thanks to the prese
nce of almighty god, who has given us the
grace and guidance, so that we can meet
together in this blessed place. And I also
do not forget to submit your prayer and g
reetings to our prophet Muhammad saw,
who has brought us from darkness, so we
are always on the right path.
Of course a variety of reasons and o
pinions will arise when we hear the questi
on “is it important to learn ENGLISH?” So
me people say that, it is important to lear
n ENGLISH with a variety of reasons and
opinions and also there who think learnin
g ENGLISH is important even less import
ant with a variety of reasons and opinions.
Do you think learning ENGLISH is impor
tant?
Departing from a question of “is it i
mportant to learn ENGLISH?” How import
ant do you think ENGLISH to be learned?
We all know that ENGLISH is one of the f
ew international language which is used i
n many countries in addition to Arabic an
d Chinese.
Many people in this country do not
agree on the importance of learning ENGL
ISH, which is of course accompanied by a
variety of reasons and their opinions. The
y argue: why do we have to learn ENGLIS
H? When we still had its own language, In
donesian, which is used as the national l
anguage and unifying our country. Why d
o we have to learn ENGLISH when we still
have thousands of local languages should
we preserve and together.
But, we live in this world is not his
own. There are several things that need c
ommunication, language other different c
ountries. Therefore, we certainly need a c
ommon language. And ENGLISH emerged
as an international language we know. Th
erefore, it is important to learn the ENGLI
SH language from primary school to uppe

h will determine the future of our country
