Cognos Disclosure Management 10.2.2. New features in IBM Cognos Disclosure Management Version
10.2.1 IBM ® Cognos® Disclosure Management includes features that were added since the last release.
Object security The following object security features have been added to this version of Cognos
Disclosure Management. Object filter by Workflow Access This feature filters report objects based on
the user's workflow visibility permission. Depending on permissions, a particular user might or might not
see certain report objects in the report object tree. This functionality provides an additional layer of
security to ensure that users without relevant permissions cannot see or modify the underlying report
object content. Conditional Workflow This feature enables users to progress to a particular state in a
workflow, depending on a workflow rule. If the rule is evaluated as false, which is represented by the
numeric digit of 0, the user can move the report object to the next workflow state. Otherwise, the
report object stays in its current workflow state. Resolve variables This feature enables users to see the
resolved values of ##D and ##GD variables quickly, without having to generate a report. For users to see
the resolved values of such variables, the report object that contains the variables must be checked in.
Data collection This feature allows users to write back data to an OLAP source such as Cognos TM1® or
Oracle Essbase. With the presence of this feature, all offline schedules and data can be centralized into a
