ASSIGNMENT NO.1

What is Science?

Science is a systematic and logical way to find out how things work in the universe. It consists
of watching, listening, observing and documenting the world. Science is curiosity in thinking
about the world and its behaviour.

What is Technology?

Technology is the use of scientific knowledge for practical or applicable pur poses, whether in
industry or in our daily lives. It is the arrangement of information, abilities, experience and
methods through which people change and utilize our condition so as to make apparatuses,
machines, items and administrations that address our issues and wants.

What is the role of these two above mentioned words towards Society?

With the help of science and technology, societal infrastructures developed. The invention of
telephone and radio services broadened human communication. Without the invention we
have today society can't exist. Society needs both Science and Technology.
