An important note about the new Apple Silicon processors (eg.

“M1”)
For the past 15 years, Apple has been using Intel processors, and many of their computers still do. Last November, Apple began offering new desktop
and notebook computers that are instead powered by Apple silicon, starting with the M1. Although Mac computers with Apple silicon offer
substantial performance benefits, they are not currently compatible with all Mac-based software. If you want to use a Mac with Apple silicon, please
also make sure that you meet the other required or recommended specifications as shown below. To verify compatibility with Apple silicon (or any
other variables), please refer to the “system requirements” as published at that software maker’s website.
