JIL CHURCH SAN JUAN ALCALA

BRIEF HISTORY
Over the years of consistent and fervent prayer, like a tiny seed sown deep in a good ground,
watered with unwavering hope and faith, nourished with His awesome promises, finally have
sprung up. God has done a new thing!
As JIL ALCALA CHURCH celebrated God's goodness and greatness with the theme Breakthrough
on December 31, 2020, Rev. Eliseo Balquin gained from God an insightful revelation that
revealed him that JIL Alcala would soon be enjoying a new wave of blessings.

2021
The establishment of the JIL Church San Juan Alcala pushed through during the Covid-19 global
pandemic, which has cost the lives of many and plunged millions of others into financial
hardships.
Who could have thought or imagine, that in the midst of this crisis, JIL Church Alcala could
afford to build its very first physical structure? As the Lord said in Isaiah 43:18," See, I am doing
a new thing, now it springs up." It was the start of what seem to be like a phenomenal event.

Called to work with a vision to build a ministry after God's own heart, heeding
to His conviction, Sis. Julia Cabatic Vergara, one of JIL Alcala's pillars and faithful
servants, with a compassionate and generous heart, together with her family,
spearheaded the construction of the physical church on February 18, 2021, on a 200 sq.meter
lot property, which she heartily donated for God's glory, located in Barangay San Juan, Alcala,
Pangasinan.

Our experience with God and his plan for us has been extraordinary and amazing.Starting from
Day 1 of the making of the edifice up to the post-construction phase, God never failed to pour
out His limitless blessings and provisions, as well as His wondrous ways, to provide us the
materials and other resources for the substantial completion of the building.

When brethren dwell together in unity

Under the leadership of Pastor Marcelo dela Cruz Jr., together with Bro. Brian Eclipse who led
and managed the operations in the construction, the Church Management Team, the
different Life Group Networks, JIL brethrens and the whole congregation, who have
collaborated and joined hands together, with whatever means and ways to contribute for
the development and acquisition of additional resources for the pre and post-construction
phase.
