Two point perspective - Mr. Fassett, 9-13-03
Draw horizon line. Position vanishing points using 90˚ angle from

1 station point.
You can imagine the 90º corner to be where you are standing in
relationship to the room that you are drawing. When you shift the
angle, you shift your viewpoint.

Use a 30º angle from the station point to position the height line

3 height line
where the 30º line intersects the horizon.

This places the height line at the edge of the visual field of focus.

Place increments along height line. Size of increment determines

the size of the drawing.

Dashed line represents a

3 foot height from the
floor along this grid.

The floor grid may be used to position objects.

All heights are measured at the height line.

Height measured using the right vanishing point is the height at the left rear wall.

Height measured using the left vanishing point is the height at the left front wall.

Height can be marked on the rear wall and projected out to specific objects on
the same floor grid.
