1. We need this information as soon as possible.

The Project Manager, Mr. Watkins, needs the blueprints for the house on
47th street.

2. The machinery will replace a flawed piece of equipment.

The 32-tooth gear will replace the old one (that wore out finally), in the
transmission box.

3. Failure to purchase this will have a negative impact.

If you don’t buy this, the boss won’t be very happy.

4. Weather problems in the area resulted in damage to the computer


systems.

The computer servers in Building 1 of SCC shut down do to a power surge


caused by the storm yesterday.

5. The most recent occurrences were caused by insufficient personnel.

The recent accidents on the construction site were caused by lack of


experienced workers.

As you know, Northern Cargo Services use electronics to process freight and
documentation. At the moment, we are installing terminals in export
departments owned by some of our major customers around the world. I would
like to off a similar tracking system for your company:
 We handle all of your export traffic from your locations around the country
and monitor theses exports with a terminal located in your home office.
Advantages would include:
 Generating a export invoice in your export department.
 You could trace your shipments more readily
 Determining rating fees would be more accurate
 And your accounting department would benefit
All in all your export operations would achieve greater efficiency. Please let us
