RECEPTION
Call to Order
A pleasant day to everyone! May I have your attention please. We are
about to begin our Lunch Reception so please be on your seats and make
yourselves comfortable.
Welcome Address
A very good morning to everyone and welcome to Marvin and Riza’s
Lunch Reception. We are done with the solemn part of the celebration,
but please stay with us until the end of the program as we join our
newlyweds in celebration of the beginning of their new life together.
So, sit down, relax and enjoy the rest of the day.
I am Mrs. Athina Paulino, and I am Mr. JR Muca, we had been given the
task by the bride herself to be your emcees for today.
We thank you all for gracing this joyful occasion. In behalf of Marvin and
Riza and their parents, I would like to express their heartfelt gratitude
for your presence at this memorable occasion. It is indeed a pleasure to
have you all today.
Dove Release
The bride and groom will now do the dove release. May I request the
newlyweds to please come forward and each get a dove. The newlyweds
would like to thank Rev. Donnell Dee Castillo and Sis. Rosas Castillo for
providing us with this beautiful pair of doves.
1
(INSTRUCTIONS: While Newlyweds comes forward and prepare for the
dove release, Background music starts playing and Emcee say the
following......)
The two doves signify Marvin and Riza being released to start a new
journey together. Like the two pairs of dove, whatever happens they
will always try to seek the comfort of each other and their home
together. This is where they know that they will find love. A dove always
chooses one mate for life, and signify love, faithfulness, joy, and hope.
Marvin and Riza are now ready so we will now release the doves. At the
count of three release the doves. Ready when you are. One... Two...
Three... and... off they go!!! That was really beautiful.
(If Table Hopping is for other guests and Principal Sponsors are called)
(INSTRUCTIONS: After calling all the Principal Sponsors, table hopping will
take place.)
At this point, Marvin and Riza will now go from one table to another to
personally greet and thank everyone for their presence as guests give
their monetary gifts to the couple. Simultaneously, they can take
souvenir pictures with their guests.

Words of Wisdom from Parents/Guardians
A Proverb says, “Listen to advice and accept correction, then in the end
you will be wise.” When it comes to knowing what marriage is all about,
our elders will always have a word or two to share.
We would like to call on the Uncle of the bride, Bishop Jaime Castillo, to
say a few words of wisdom and Best Wishes to our newlyweds.
(Bishop Castillo comes forward to convey her Best Wishes to the

Thank you so much Bishop for that inspiring message. And now we would
like to call on the Cousin of the Groom, Mrs. Marnellie Laeno to say a
