WEDDING EMCEE SCRIPT

The moment we find the person who see our future together
or, our so called “The One, we wouldn’t want to take any chance
of losing him/her forever and regret that huge mistake every
second of our life.

It is not about how long you have known each other but it’s
about how you have surpassed every challenge that came along
the way and how you worked together to stay in each other’s
arms and said NO to every temptation.

A pleasant morning ladies and gents. Please look for any

available seat and make yourself cozy as we are about to
welcome the newly wed in a few minutes.

While our set of entourages are still preparing for the

professional, in behalf of Fernan and Ira , let me grab this
opportunity to thank all of you for joining us in this momentous
celebration. We are so honored and privileged to be invited to
take part in this wedding ceremony and witness the union of
Fernan and Ira as they become one especially at this time that
the number of guests is limited . So , thank you so much for
coming today.

By the way please allow me to introduce myself. My name is

Vanne, a co-teacher of the groom’s eldest sister.

I. ENTOURAGE -ENTRANCE

From where I am situated, It is evident in everyone’ s

expression the excitement to meet the couple who just became
one. And I think they are also ready, without further ado, let
us welcome our set of entourage!
Say hi to our flower girls and bearers!
You look dazzling kids!
Next in line are our bride’s maids and groomsmen!
You all looked fabulous in your gowns bride’s maids and of
course, you look wonderful in that suit groomsmen!

Now, let’s have the secondary sponsors!

Wow, you are paired very well secondary sponsors! By attending
this event , you must have remembered the time when you were
married few months or years back. All pairs look fantastic!

Our principal sponsors don’t want to be left behind , so help me

welcome our set of principal sponsors!
Wow, from their looks, they appear to be brides and grooms
too. You must have reminisced your precious moments when it
was your time getting married. You are all beautiful and
handsome.

This time , let us also welcome the maid of honor and the best
man !
You both did well in assisting the couples and thank you so
much both of you ! What an elegant gown and suit! You look
marvelous together!

Ladies and gentlemen , This morning calls for a grand

celebration and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you
for the very first time the Mr. Fernan Cultivo and Mrs. Ira
Ilo-Cultivo as husband and wife.

Now, let us all stand and welcome the pair who just entered
the world of marriage. Let us all give them a resounding
applause!

wallets and purses and let us bless the couple financially as
they do the traditional money bridge.

Before anything else , we would like to acknowledge the key
persons who took a great part of this joyous affair. For

IV. TOAST AND GRACE

A celebration is never complete without a toast and a bottle of

good wine. A couple’s toast it is a spiritual significance of the
couple’s wine toasting is the blood of Christ where the couple
becomes one with God it is also a symbol of the couple’s union.

May I call on Mr. Andrew R. Cultivo to serve the wine in the

symbolic wine toast and give a short message for the couple.

Let us seal it with a kiss. Couple if you could just give our
guests a SWEET KISS…

VI. THROWING OF BOUQUET

At this juncture, let us all have some fun again and its time for
the Traditional bouquet throw. At this point I would like to
request all the single ladies to please come forward for the
bouquet throw. I would also like to request the bride to come
forward and take her place at the center stage.
(INSTRUCTIONS: Emcee motions and waits for all single ladies to come forward)

Ladies Kindly take your place behind the bride and be prepared
to catch the bouquet. It is said that whoever will catch the
bouquet will soon be the next bride. So is everyone in? Ready
when you are at the count of three the bride will throw her
bouquet. May I also request the audience to please join me in
the counting.

INSTRUCTIONS: Emcee make sure that everyone is in place)

Ready when you are ladies. Let us now do the countdown.

One….Two….Three……and there it goes.

(Bride throws the bouquet and the ladies tries to catch it.)

May I request for the lady who was able to catch the
bouquet to please come forward

Congratulations Miss, May I have your name please.

(INSTRUCTIONS: Emcee draws the microphone to the lady .)

Ok let’s give a big hand to Miss ___________. Please have

a seat beside the bride and in a moment we shall find your
match in the garter Toss.

RETRIEVAL OF THE GARTER

Before we go on with the Garter Toss, the groom is to
retrieve the garter from his bride. So may we request
Fernan and Ira to please come center stage and do the
garter retrieval ritual.

(A chair is brought onstage for the bride to sit. while groom

kneels down at the bride's feet ready to retrieve the garter)

Ladies and gentleman the groom will now retrieve the garter
from the bride.

(Groom retrieves the garter from the bride.)

There you have it ladies and gentlemen; the groom was

finally able to retrieve the garter. Let us give him a big
hand.

GARTER TOSS

Ok it is now the gentlemen's turn and we will now do the

garter toss. May I mow request all single men to please
come forward for the Garter Toss.

(INSTRUCTIONS: Emcee motions and waits for all single men

to come forward)

Gentlemen please take you place behind the groom and be

ready to catch the garter. So is everyone ready? At the
count of three the groom will throw the garter and again
we request the audience to participate in the countdown.

(INSTRUCTIONS: Emcee makes sure that everyone is in

place)

Ok ready when you are guys. One….. Two……Three……

and .....off it Goes !!!!

(Groom throws the bouquet and the gentlemen tries to catch

it.)
MATCHMAKING RITUAL
May I request for the gentlemen with the quick hand who now have in his possession the garter. Sir

please come forward and take your place beside the lady
who has the bouquet. Congratulations Sir. May I have your
name please.

(INSTRUCTIONS: Emcee draws the microphone to the

gentleman.)

Thank you Mr. ___________, Friends lets give this

gentlemen a big hand.

Now that we have already found a perfect match. The next

bride and groom to be in the future. It it time for another
ritual. The gentlemen who got the garter is to put it on the
lady who caught the bouquet. At this point we would like to
request Ms. __ _________to please have a seat while Mr.
___________ will put the garter. Ladies and gentlemen,
Mr. __________ will now put on the garter on Ms.
_________.

(Lady takes a seat while gentleman puts the garter on her.)

There you have it ladies and gentlemen. Our new lovely pair
and if it would not be too much to ask we would like the
gentlemen to give the lady a quick kiss.

(INSTRUCTIONS: Emcee waits for the gentlemn to give the

kiss and thanks the pair. after.)

Thank you Mr. _______ and Ms ________, Let us give

them both a big hand

At his point, we request that both of you remain onstage

for the picture taking. The newlyweds will now pose with
our lovely new pair.

(INSTRUCTIONS: Emcee stands aside as photographers take

pictures of the pair with the newlyweds.)
Again Thank you Mr. _______ and Ms ________ for your
participation, you may now return to your seats.

FIRST DANCE

And now, I would like to request Mr. Salvador Ilo , the Father
of the bride to approach his daughter for the father and
daughter dance.

Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause for the father and

daughter dance!

GROOM AND MOTHER DANCE

And of course to the very first woman of our beloved groom ,
may we request for Mrs. ___________ Cultivo , the mother
of the groom for the Mother and Son dance.

Ladies and gentlemen , a round of applause for the mother and

son dance.

COUPLE’S FIRST DANCE

Ninongs and Ninangs this is the moment that you all have
been waiting for…
This moment is indeed a special morning and will forever be
etched in the memory of our beloved couple. For this day
marks the beginning of their new life together. From this day
forward they shall be one, and for this joyful beginning what
could be more fitting than to celebrate it with their First
Dance . The First Dance is symbolic of the consumption of
their wedding vows. This Dance is the wedding couple’s first
cooperative engagement and joint endeavor. As the saying goes
, It takes two to tango”. Ladies and gentlemen, it is once again
my privilege to present to you Mr. Fernan and Mrs Ira with
their first dance.

PINS are placed in each table, so for those who wanted to

show their love and generosity to the newly wed couple you may
start pinning some paper bills .

AFTER THE MONEY DANCE

Thank you so much bride and groom for sharing your first
dance as well as to those who danced with them, thank you a
lot!

LUNCH TIME

We are now at the peak of our celebration . This is the most

awaited part even for me. We will just pause for a while a from
these entertainment and savour the food at the ___________
that LJP FARM RESORT prepared for us.

DURING LUNCH
(If buffet)To facilitate and observe during the buffet , we
will be starting per table number. When your table # is
called, please go here in front first for a photo op with
the couple and then proceed to the buffet area. Then
buffet will be followed by table 2 and so on.. May we call
on Table number (Couples parents first) to please join our
lovely couple for a photo op…
Then our principal sponsors… Proceed to the buffet area,
call on table no. 2 and so on and so forth.
For the entourage and guests you may remain seated as the
food attendants will serve the meals and attends to your need.

While we are having our meal , each set of table will be having a
picture taking with groom and bride. Please wait your table to
be called.

It is said that our parents are our first teachers having raised
us patiently from childhood to adulthood. They have been our
source of comfort , support and inspiration.

May I request the parents of the groom to give his message.

CUTTING OF CAKE
And now comes the slicing of that beautiful cake. The wedding
cake symbolizes prosperity, good luck and fertility and is made of
the best ingredients available so that the marriage will be long
lasting, happy and with many offspring. And now may I request Ira
and Fernan to walk around to the front of the bridal table to
perform their first duty as husband and wife. To cut the cake and
hand of the groom must be placed over the bride’s to show support
and promise today and the future.
MESSAGE OF THANKS FROM THE NEWLY WEDS

The afternoon and this celebration has almost come to an end but
for our newly weds it is just a start of their new life together. As we
each go home, may this day be memorable for all of us it is to
them. To personally convey their heartfelt gratitude let us now lend
an ear to
Fernan and Ira.
