celebration. I am extremely delighted that all you are here
to celebrate this important milestone in Albert and
Geraldine’s lives. I’m your host for this morning and I
welcome you here .in the reception****

I thank those particular people who were with us earlier at

the Our Lady of Salvation Parish for the wedding
ceremony. And for those who just join in, Welcome!
****
Before anything else, I would like to acknowledge the key
persons who took great part of this joyous affair. For
without their support, this event would not be possible.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to

introduce to you the parents of the Bride and Groom, Mr.
Ricardo Alcantara and Mrs. Delia Alcantara and Mr.
Antonio Luzon and Mrs. Ellen Luzon.
****
And now, may I introduce to you the people who stood
witness to the couple as they took their vows: The
Principal Sponsors (Read the names in the wedding
invitation).
****
We would also like to acknowledge the following people
who have also played significant roles during the
ceremonies: The Secondary Sponsors (Read the names
in the wedding invitation).
****
And finally, may I request everyone to stand up as I
introduce the newlyweds. Ladies and Gentlemen, the very
reason why we are all gathered here today. Without
further ado, It is with distinct pleasure as I present to you
the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Geraldine Luzon.
Let’s give them a warm round of applause.
****
The guidance of the Lord is for always the best thing we
should consider, may I request everybody to please rise
for the prayer. May I call on Arjane Alcantara to lead the
prayer and Bless the food.

Please bow down our heads and put ourselves in the

presence of the Lord.
Heavenly father, Love has been your richest and greatest
gift to the world. Love between a man and a woman which
matures into marriage. Today, we celebrate that love. Lord
for the joy of this occasion, we thank You. For your
presence here and now and at all times, we thank You.
Protect, guide and bless Albert and Geraldine and
everyone present here. Surround us with Your love now
and always.

Father and Daughter Dance

And now I would like to clear the dance floor for everyone
except our Bride to have this special time with the first
Man in Her life. May I request for Mr. Ricardo Alcantara,
father of the Bride, to approach his Daughter for the father
and Daughter Dance.”

(dance for 15 seconds)

Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause for the father

and bride.
and now the Father give his daughter to the Groom.
the groom will approach the father of the bride, and Dance
with Mrs. Geraldine Luzon.

****
First Dance of the Couple
Today is indeed a special day, and will be forever etched
in the memory of our beloved Couple. On this joyful
beginning what could be more fitting than to celebrate it
with their first dance.

The first dance is symbolic of the consummation of their

wedding vows. This dance is the wedding couple’s first
cooperative engagement and joint endeavour. Ladies and
gentlemen, it is once again my privilege to present to you
Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Geraldine Luzon with their first
dance.

*****
Money Dance

It’s time for our Money Dance where you will get your
chance to financially bless our couple.
Our Maid of Honor, and Best man will be standing here.
You may approach them and they will hand you safety
pins where you can attach it to the Newly wed clothes.

(When finished)

Thank You all for your generosity that will indeed go a long
way for the couple.

Alright, so let’s move on to our next stop. A wedding is not

complete without traditions. The first one must be the
cutting of the wedding cake.
******
Cutting of Cake
May I request Albert and Geraldine to prepare for the
cake ceremony. The cake, which has been a part of
wedding celebrations since the Roman times, it is a
symbol of good luck and fertility. The sharing of this food
symbolizes the couple’s willingness to fulfill each other’s
needs, creating a bond so simple and yet so strong.
****
Wine Toast
Our next tradition is the wine tossing. Raising a glass
together is a way for everyone to share in wishing good
health and happiness to the newlyweds. As the wine is
poured, our newlyweds now make wishes for their good
fortune, a better future and the best life possible for them.
Let’s join them in their fervent wishes through good
fellowship and camaraderie, love and happiness.
*****
Prayer
it is said that a successful marriage involves three hearts
becoming one. The Hearts of the husband, the wife, and
God at the center. So let us give thanks to the one who
made this all possible, the author of life, love and
relationships. Our God.

To lead us into prayer and to say Grace before Meal, Let

me call on Ms. Erica Cid.

(Bless us oh Lord. In this thy gift which we are about to

receive from thy bounty through Christ our Lord. Amen.)
****
There we have it ladies and gentleman, Lunch is served.
Everyone is hereby invited to partake lunch. You may now
feel free to get your food at the buffet table, and please,
enjoy your meal, As we continue the program.. Thank you!
****

Tossing of the Bouquet or Bouquet Throw

At this time, may I request all the single ladies to please

come over for the bouquet throw. We would also like to
request the bride to come forward and take her place at
the center.
Ok so ladies, take your place behind the bride and be
prepared to pull the ribbon that has the bouquet. It is said
that whoever will get the bouquet will soon to be the next
bride.
Alright. Everything is fine. Audience, may I request you to
join me in counting okay.. Ready, 321 and Go!
May I request for the lady who was able to catch the
bouquet to please come forward and join me here.

Congratulations and may I have your name please? Ok so

let’s give a big hand to Miss______. Please have seat
beside the bride and in a moment we shall match in the
garter toss.
****
Retrieval of the Garter/Tossing of Garter
This tradition has been done over the years and is meant
that whoever catches the garter will be the luck guy to get
wed. Let’s have a game, and it’s called “pass the garter”
we will play music and as the music stops, whoever is
holding the bouquet, is the lady guy.

Congratulations and may I have your name please? Ok so

let’s give a big hand to Mr. ______. Before you put the
garter on the legs of Ms. ________. You will dance first as
you approach the lady.

*******
Ceremony of the Chosen Couple
Ok there you have it. We have a new pair Mr._____ and
Miss ____________. Lets give them a round of applause.

Message from God parents (During Lunch)

In all sense of the word Godparents are guardians of the

faith. The Bride and Groom should treat this role not
merely as gift givers during nuptials; But as a co-sharers
to the promise of a lifetime of Christian commitment.

And the Godparents to give their message to the couple,

lets welcome Mr/Mrs. -----------------------

(AFTER THE MESSAGES)

Thank you for your wisdom, a round of applause for the
God parents of the couple.

Message from Friends and relatives

A wedding brings two people , Friends and relatives

together. It refreshes the ties to another level.
I would like to proceed with the Message from Friends and
relatives. These are the people who literally saw the
romance between the groom and Bride.

May I request the Friend and relatives of the couple to

give their message to the couple.

friends and relatives of the couple.

been our source of comfort , support and inspiration.
