Within every group of people, there are similarities and differences among individuals. Some of
these are obvious while others are not. It is important to recognize and respect your similarities with
and differences from the people around you in order to strengthen you relationship with them.
Copy the Diversity Card on a clean sheet of peper. Complete the card by writing names of

1. How was your experience while completing the activity?
= it was fun. I had fun reminiscing and remembering people who are no longer in my radius
but still close.
2. Who among the people around has significant similarities with and differences from you?
Explain briefly its impact in your relationship with them.
= I guess with Ate Tin and Cristy. I guess it impact my relationship with them in a sense of
closeness. Even though me and ate tin are very different we get along and it’s exciting to
learn the things we don’t know and to Cristy it’s like bonding and we learn alot about the
cooking because of its skill level.

3. How do you strengthen your relationship with the people around you in spite of your
differences?
= I strengthen it via learning about their differences and just embracing them.

witnessed varying jobs around you. Furthermore, you may already have be given the chance
to decide on a career to pursue in your previous years. As you are nearing the completion of
your Junior High School, your decision of choosing a career to pursue will be tighter. The

= I conflicted. I don’t know which career should I choose especially when I love all of them.

2. Comparing the results in each factor, which of them has influenced you the most in your
chosen career? Which has the least?
=The Doctor and Dentist mostly because of the purpose and money I could get from it. The
least is the Physical Therapist, it used to be a pre-med course for me to pursue doctor but I
really got interested with the career.

3. What does it tell you?Explain.

= It tells me that I have changed. Because I used to be only Doctor and nothing else but now
I’m interested with different career choices.

description of it plus my family was
so used to me hearing it as my job
I just assumed that it will never
change.

and what they do I fell in love with
it. And I really appreciate my
mother’s physical therapist when
she was diagnosed with GBS that
made her walk again.

What I have Learned

Picking a Career is a hard especially when you are influenced by a lot of things. I have three
considerations when it comes to picking a career. First of all, I want my career to have a
fulfilling everyday experience that not only impact myself but also the people I work with and
for. Second, I want a career that can maintain a stable life I don’t need a really high paying
job but won’t stress me out in paying bills. And finally, I want to consider the time. I want a
career that is flexible because I also want to enjoy my life and family.

Help? Certain? I don’t think I will be fully certain in my future career. I wished I could be but
one thing that can help me to be more certain is time, I know one day I will be certain in a
career. The only thing I can help myself in pursuing my career choice is love, time and
finding support. I just want a career that I will love or just be fulfilled.
