The primary role of a teacher is to deliver classroom instruction that help learners learn,
search out and construct meaningful educational experiences that allows learners learned in
school.

As grade 5 teacher in Socorro Central Elementary School & SPED Center Siargao
Division Caraga Region and teaching for over 17 years in regular class. My eyes opened as I
personally attended this kind of seminar because this seminar taught me how inclusive education
is important to the learners. This seminar is an eye opening to all teachers specially those Non-
SPED Teachers . I was able to see me through that every learners with disability should be given
importance /pampered and cared for and be given proper accommodation suited for their needs
and interest . the eyes of a child with learning disability in different areas. I always understood
that children who have learning disabilities learned differently, but I did’nt imagine how extreme
the difference could be. The problem were hard for me and became frustrating. I now know
firsthand how frustrating it can be for students who have learning disabilities in different areas.
Its amazing what extra time or shorter questions can do help increase understanding. I realize
that some things that come naturally to me may be extremely difficult for someone who learns
differently. As teacher, I will make sure to teach children strategies and develop assignments that
increase student understanding.
