WHY WE HAVE THE PROBLEM ABOUT THE TRASH?

One of the main reasons is that barangay Bolbok is going through a fast and progressive
industrialization and economic growth. We are developing which means we are gaining more population
which means more consumption therefore are production increases as well our waste

What are the current program of barangay which regards to the TRASH

The barangay currently obeys the ordinance and laws made from the office of the president or
mayor. This ordinance addresses the issue which tells the people to segregate the garbages from being
biodegradable and non- biodegradable and to have a waste facilities to have a much better system in
collecting the trash.

Another thing that people obeys is maintaining of there area’s cleanliness. The one who will not
obey this ordinance will be given a sanction or other consequences.

Aside from the facts that we are being more productive, dogs also plays roles of the problems
concerning this issue. Dogs that are in the streets scatters the trash when it is placed beside the road for
collection.
HISTORY AND OTHER FACTS ABOUT BOLBOK

Aside from the said trademarks, Barangay Bolbok is also one of the TOP 10 BARANGAYS among
the staggering 72 barangays in the City of LIpa. There are many reasons for why we are among the best
barangays. First, we have a great economical status and we are really have a fast rate of progress.
Despite we have a great number of population, a large percentage of this are all Professionals. And in
fact, if we look at the individuals who have a high position in the government like in our city hall , other
institution and schools, many of them are from barangay Bolbok. Bolbok is known for being highly
competitive. In City Hall some of the department heads and some individual in the Sangguniang
Panglungsod are from our barangay.

Bolbok is developing barangay. Last year the internal revenue was less than 5 million, but after just a
year it climbed up to a almost 7 million. At the same according to our statistics the complaint
concerning many of the issues of our barangay has decreased.
