Upgrade the VDR firmware

1. laptop connected to VDR RJ1 Data Interface. And Laptop local Ethernet connection

IP address set to 192.168.0.91/255.255.255.0

2. Download the software and double click “HMT-100A(20190803)full.exe”

3. Type in “4”, then press “Enter” button, and confirm to Update VDR. the VDR begins to
upgrade itself.

4. After finishing successfully, restart the VDR device.

Set up LAN mode

There is two modes in the video configuration, VGA mode and LAN mode.
We should use LAN mode to connect ECDIS with lan connection.
VDR IP: Find out which ip address the ECDIS used. The VDR should use the same network group.
VDR SFID: The default is “VR0001”
CATEGORY: The VDR should use the same with the ECDIS, the default is 239.192.0.26:60026.
IP: The ECDIS’s IP address
SFID: The ECDIS’s SFID

After setting up the video configuration, click “Save Video” button to save them, then click “Online
Update” button to upload file to the VDR. At last, click “Reboot VDR” to restart the VDR device.
