    What does it mean to be endangered? Endangered animals


    are animals that are at risk of becoming extinct. When an
    animal species is extinct it means that there are no longer
    any of that species alive today.

    Can you think of a species of animal that no longer exists today? Write them below. If
    you are not sure, you could search the internet for some help.
