1.A reverse fault is one in which one side of the fault, the hanging wall,
moves up and over the side, the foot wall.

2.A normal fault is when one side of the fault moves downwards.

3.A strike – slip fault or transform fault in the relative horizontal slip the
movement between two ocean edges.

2.Explain the three types of plate margins.


1.Convergent plate margin -Where 2 plates are being pushed together,
there is a convergent plate margin.

2.Transform plate margin - This is when 2 major land masses are passing
each other.

3.Divergent plate margins - Where 2 plates or land masses move away


from each other.

Folding is a type of earth movement resulting from the horizontal
compression of rock layers by internal forces of the earth along plate
boundaries.
